Great Israeli food and breakfast. Everything we had was amazing the challah that came with the shakshuka was really nice. Also loved the shuk and borek. Servers were from Israel which was also really cool. I want to go back in the winter and try their other hot dishes. Cool, laid back atmoshphere with Good service too!!

Truly surprised with myself for not writing a review for 12 Chairs sooner! Amazing brunch spot but also great for a delicious dinner. They used to be really small (only 12 chairs) but have since expanded into the space next door as well as offering on street and in cabin outside dining. I do recommend making a reservation as it gets very busy especially on the weekends. The brunch menu every dish comes with a generous portion of fresh Israeli salad, and includes the option to add coffee or juice for a reasonable addition. I always always always get the BOREK Traditional cigar dough filled with potato puree and runny egg, folded into a pocket and fried It's so tasty and always perfectly prepared, and the salad it comes with really compliments the richness of the borek. My friend usually gets the shakshuka and then if they're not sold out, an order of Jachnun for later. JACHNUN Hand-rolled Yemenite dough cooked overnight with a touch of date honey, served with a hard-boiled egg and crushed tomatoes (one piece). Saturdays and Sundays only and they sell out by the afternoon. 12 chairs isn't know for their customer service but I have never had a bad experience. You may just need to be assertive in asking for water refills but our server on this recent visit checked on us frequently. I once had to engage with management about a disappointing take out order, I corresponded with Rotem via email using the email listed on the website, and received a phone call at my convenience from is manager the next day. They were Incredibly receptive to my feedback, refunded me for the burnt item and also offered a gift card for my next visit. That made me a loyal returning customer, as no restaurant can ever be truly perfect, but the way in which mistakes are acknowledged and addressed speaks volumes for their professionalism and value of the customer,

Great food and speedy service. This spot is popular so expect there to be a wait! This also meant we were pushed out in order for them to clear the table for the next guests. They did this nicely though, just don't expect to have a long conversation and mill about here.

The cozy and vibrant atmosphere of 12 Chairs Cafe immediately set the tone for a pleasant dining experience. The staff were welcoming, and our server, Hannah, made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. What We Ate: * IPA: Refreshing and crisp, a great start to the meal. * Iced Mint Tea: Perfectly brewed, cool, and refreshing. * 12 Chairs Salad: Fresh and well-balanced, a light and tasty option. * Schnitzel: Crispy and flavorful, added a satisfying crunch to our meal. * Hummus Meat: Creamy and rich with tender, flavorful meat. * Sammy's Kebabs: Juicy and well-seasoned, a highlight of the meal. * Pita: Soft and warm, ideal for pairing with the hummus. Service: The service was impeccable. Hannah was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and ensuring we had everything we needed. Despite being a busy night, our food arrived promptly, and the staff frequently checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Really good Israeli food. Excellent bread, hummus, and dip. Cauliflower was delicious as well. The burger was different and filling. Overall, good quality food and service. Just the venue is super tight so you'll be likely nearly touching somebody sitting next to you!

Food here was phenomenal, really felt like I was back in Israel. Falafel was hot and fresh, the hummus was so creamy and the pitas were top tier and fluffy. The highlight for me was the Shouk Salad, so simple but every ingredient was fresh including delicious heirloom tomatoes and feta cheese. The portions for the sharing plates were very small, the halloumi came with three small pieces and same for the lamb kebabs. There's marketed for sharing but you cant really with more than 3 people. The hummus however I felt was a generous amount. The service here was good, there was always a pitcher of water on our table and servers coming around to pick Up plates. Food came out fast too. After 6:30/7pm the lights here dim and the music turns up. I loved the music so it was great but definitely made it difficult to talk to our group. Just something to note if you're hoping for a quiet dinner, this isn't the place. Vibes were great in my opinion! Would definite come back and being more friends.

Came by for a lunch, didn't make a rez in advance but they had a table for us. Seating is a little cramped inside, the tables are close to one another. Casual ambiance. We ordered the hummus meat, falafel and the schnitzel. I absolutely LOVED the hummus meat! I thought the flavor was great and I could have eaten the whole thing myself. I would 100% get this again. The falafel was surprisingly good, it's so easy for falafel to be dry but these tasted fresh and they weren't dry at all. They come with some pita. Most underwhelming was the schnitzel, it was just okay. I came with my boyfriend who's Israeli so his/our bar is a little high but overall we were really happy with the meal and the experience.

We stopped by for a small little midday snack and shared a salad and arepas. Very very good! Highly recommend the arepas; they're so flavorful and the lamb is perfectly cooked and pairs so well with the tahini sauce. Salad was also very refreshing. Fast service on a late weekend lunch. We sat outside in their little patio seating which is heated. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!!
